Two weeks ago we travelled to Belgium to collect two new horses who will be for sale… Hilda and Kainn fra Efri-Raudalaek! Here is a sneak preview of them…

Today we went out with Kaspar for the first time around the farm a little, he was impeccably behaved!

Today we had some fun jumping some logs with Stapi and Sokkull 🙂

Today we took Sokkull, Fjolnir and Stapi up the hill for a bit of fitness exercise – Here they are ready to go!

Today all the ridden horses got their teeth checked by the dentist! They now all have happy teeth, even those who had their first checks with us.

Today was a day for pole work, and here is Sokkull trying his best!

At the weekend we welcomed Agnes from Sweden who is here to work with us, we are very happy to have her here and she has already settled into work in and around the stable as well as with both training horses and our own horses.

This week we have been busy with a number of different visitors to Connegar Farm who have come for lessons, to try sales horses and to have their first go on an Icelandic horse!

We were very happy to offer two of our horses, Odinn and Komma, to Yvonne and her lovely family for their first experiences of riding an Icelandic and they did not fail to produce the ‘Icelandic grin’! We hope to see them again in the near future!
